2-28-09 Basketball update

Andrew’s team won 18-8.  It was our most balanced game so far with everyone working the ball around and getting into the act.  Andrew had 6 points and at least that many rebounds (I lost count).

Rachel’s first track meet

Rachel got 3rd in both the 2400m and the 1600m at her first track meet last night in Gatesville.  She did great!  She ran a 6:29 in the 1600m and just barely missed getting second place.  She wasn’t far out of first place either!  WAY TO GO, RACHEL!

Basketball update

We beat the team that everyone considered the best in the league 18-14 today.  Andrew had his best game so far.  He had 12 points, 8 rebounds, a block and an assist.   We played great as a team–everyone played stingy defense.  It was awesome.
