Wow. Last night was really amazing. Amy began her long journey back in 2001 while we still lived in the Dallas area. She wasn’t exactly brimming with confidence, but she really felt this call on her life. Little by little her confidence grew. I’m not exactly sure when it happened, but at some point in the next couple of years she woke up and realized that yes, she could do it with God’s help. And she did. Boy, did she!
Last night she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has passed all of her state certification tests. She is ready to be a teacher and fulfill the call on her life! Anyone that knows her, knows that she will excel at that just like she has excelled at everything else.
We certainly hope that she can get a job here in our hometown, but she is going to touch many young lives no matter where God puts her.
