10-30-2010 Football Update

We lost to the first place team 21-7 after leading 7-0 at halftime.  It was a tough loss, but I think we’ll bounce back and make the playoffs.  Drew played both QB and receiver.  He had some nice runs from the QB position and caught a touchdown pass at receiver–our only touchdown of the game.  Here are his highlights:

10-23-2010 Football Update

The Bulldogs had their best game of the year.  We beat the rival McGregor team 35-0.  Andrew got his first snaps at quarterback too!  After playing receiver all year, he got to play some quarterback today.  He rushed for his first touchdown (and 2-point conversion) and threw his first touchdown pass.

10-16-2010 Football Update

We lost a close game to the Belton titans 9-8.  I feel like we outplayed them but turned the ball over too many times (and at bad times).  Andrew played well.  He kicked a really deep kickoff and we were able to get a safety on the next play.  He also had a really nice reception and an interception.

We had a busy weekend!  Andrew’s football team won 18-0.  He had a really nice reception.  Check out the highlights below:

10-02-2010 Football Update

Andrew had a great game against the Belton Tigers.  He had a nice tackle on the opening kickoff, a catch for a 2-point conversion and a pick 6 in the 2nd half with an awesome runback.
